May be responsible to open and/or close the transportation office and to make operations decisions regarding routes whenever necessary. Must be able to answer driver and patron concerns and routing questions. Responsible for both telephone and radio operations and must be able to multitask. Must possess the computer skills necessary to assist in accurate record keeping regarding discipline issues, driver and office attendance records, both mileage and hours for payroll, trip information, and also substitute driver sheets. Will be working with both employee and student records, as well as videos, etc so must be able to keep information confidential.

 

Must be able to perform bus driving duties as well as office duties. Must also be able to learn various computer programs and be able to assist with both routing and bus stop information as well as field trip and activity trip information, and produce other reports as necessary. Valid Class “B” CDL required with correct endorsements. Must have a clean driving record and be able to transport students in various scenerios, including but not limited to, shuttling, running a bus route, covering trips, etc. Must be able to perform other duties as assigned by the district.

 

207 day contract will be prorated to actual days worked.
